Data Deletion

01Overview

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information held by searchoutleads, Inc. This page explains how customers can delete their account data, and how individuals whose business contact details appear in our database can request removal. For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.

02Delete your customer account

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved searches, pipeline records and settings. When you delete your account we will:

• Permanently delete or anonymize your account profile and login credentials.
• Remove your saved searches, unlocked leads and pipeline data from active systems.
• Cancel any active subscription (no further charges will be made).
• Delete backups containing your data on our standard backup rotation schedule.

This action is irreversible. If you only want to pause, you can cancel your subscription instead and keep your account.

03How to request deletion

Choose whichever is easiest for you:

• In the app — go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm.
• By email — send a request from the email address on your account to privacy@searchoutleads.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".

04Remove a business contact record

If you are a professional whose business contact information appears in our database and you would like it removed or suppressed, you do not need an account. Email privacy@searchoutleads.com with the subject "Opt-Out Request" and include the name, company and email or phone number associated with the record so we can locate and remove it.

Once removed, we add the details to a suppression list so the record is not re-added from future data sources.

05Timeline & verification

• To protect your data, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a request.
• We acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified deletions within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted by law.
• We will confirm in writing once your deletion has been processed.

06Retention exceptions

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires or permits it — for example, to comply with legal, tax or accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud and abuse, or to enforce our Terms & Conditions. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary for those purposes and is then deleted or anonymized.
